DJI remotes can fly with a stronger FCC signal, longer range, and a more reliable connection. Pick the unlock page that matches your controller.
If you fly with a phone attached to a remote, use Drone Tweaks instead.
- DJI RC 2FCC mode, 5.8 GHz, and altitude unlock for the newer RC 2 remote.
- DJI RC Pro 2Dedicated unlock for RC Pro 2 with stronger signal and longer range.
- DJI RCPowerful FCC signal, longer range, and a stable high-quality link.
Drones fly differently in different parts of the world. In one place a drone can cover 5–8 kilometers; in another it may struggle past 800 meters. That limit is built into the software. Based on its coordinates, the drone decides where it is and switches power modes.
In the US, DJI drones usually fly at maximum power. In Europe they often fly at the lowest power. For most pilots the goal is not endless range — it is a stable link: flying behind buildings, controlling from a car, keeping video when CE mode drops out.
Why not activate FCC mode and fly with a stronger connection? It is possible, and we help with that.
If you have a built-in controller — DJI RC, RC 2, RC Pro, or RC Pro 2 — we unlock FCC on the remote itself. Phone-based remotes use Drone Tweaks. Not sure which path fits you? Contact us — we will help.
